Clinic Information

The Sport Horse Connection is pleased to announce that Michael Bragdell of Hilltop Farm will be returning for a clinic on January 31 and February 1, 2009. The clinic will be at Pine Hill Farm in Kansas City and it is filling up quickly. Please contact us if you are interested in participating. Michael Bragdell was here last August and the clinic was a huge success. Michael has worked as an assistant trainer for Hilltop Farm for over 12 years. He has a special gift for starting and developing young horses. In September 2008 Michael competed at the National Young Horse Championship in the 4-Year-Old division with Selten HW and took home the championship. In 2007 Michael qualified Beth Springer's Rochefort for the Young Horse Championships in Kentucky with an overall score of 8.08 and Michael and Rochefort finished 10th overall in the Five-Year-Old Division. Michael has also had the pleasure of bringing Hilltop's stallion, Royal Prince back out to the limelight this year with wins at 4th level. Michael is in charge of the young horse backing process at Hilltop and he is qualified to teach horses and riders through 2nd level. The format of this clinic will take participants and auditors through the important training stages in a young horses career. This was a unique opportunity to gain insight from a young horse expert with one of the top barns in the country.
